We are one week away from our 8th Annual Alabama Women in Jazz Festival.

IT IS OUTDOORS TO ALLOW FOR PROPER SOCIAL DISTANCING !  MASKS ARE REQUIRED.

FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL IF YOU FEEL SICK DO NOT ATTEND or IF YOU HAVE A TEMPERATURE DO NOT ATTEND. COME IF YOU ARE EXCITED AND WELL AND HAVE A GREAT TIME !

To help support Valley Arts Piano Program we are asking for a $10 suggested donation or any amount.

There will be a $5 parking non refundable fee each day of the events.

 

BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIRS

The Alabama Women in Jazz Festival is presented by Valley Arts and Entertainment.  

This festival brings female jazz performers of the highest calibre to the stage.  Many of our artists are either current Alabama residents, previous Alabama residents or guest who have been representing women music in other area of the Nation.

On Friday, September 10, Hope Clayburn, flute, saxophone reigns from Memphis Tennessee.  (more info coming) will perform.

 

On Saturday, September 11, Yuressa Shonta, jazz saxophone hails from Rochester, New York but has been a resident of Alabama for many years will perform.

 

On Saturday, September 11, JaVonne Jones, violin is a previous Alabama A&M graduate, but lives in another region will perform featuring the Moore Twins.
